National Scoot to School Day 2023
Well done to all involved in National Scoot to School Day 2023!!
What is biodiversity?
Biodiversity looks at steps which can be taken in schools to increase awareness of the importance of native plants, animals and habitats, and to increase species-richness in a locality.
Our School Garden:
We have a beautiful new school garden. This is a fantastic addition to our school grounds, and will greatly help with our biodiversity theme.

Our first step was to pick our committee. Well done to all those who applied. It is great to see so many children interested in protecting the environment.

Biodiversity Awareness Survey
One of our 1st tasks was to complete a biodiversity survey.
Green-Schools would like to invite you to participate in National Scoot to School Week which will run from Monday, March 27th to Friday, March 31st, 2023.
National SOW Day (Scoot on Wednesdays/Weekdays) will be held on Wednesday 29th March.
By participating in National Scoot to School Week and National SOW Day you will be showing your support for a greener, healthier environment by encouraging students to scoot to school.
The class with the highest % of scooters on Wednesday, will win a homework pass!!!
